Slovenia

Slovenia is a small but emerging wine producing country located in central Europe, known for its high quality white wines made from the local grape variety Welschriesling, as well as its red wines made from Blaufränkisch and Zweigelt grapes. The country's wine production is centred in the region of Primorska and its mild Mediterranean climate which is favourable for growing a variety of grape varieties.
