Egypt

Egypt is a lesser-known wine-producing country located in North Africa, despite having a winemaking history that dates back over 5,000 years. The climate in the country is generally too hot for viticulture, however the country does have a small wine industry centred around the Nile Delta that cultivates a selection of grapes similar to those found in the warmer and drier areas of Europe.
