Calabria

Calabria is a wine-producing region located in southern Italy known for its production of robust red wines made from the Gaglioppo grape, as well as sweet fortified wines made from the Moscato Bianco grape. The region has a long history of winemaking with some of its vineyards located on hillsides overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Ionian Sea, which provide ideal growing conditions for the grapes.
