Created in tribute to Madame Clicquot, La Grande Dame is only produced in great vintages. The cuvée consists of around 90% Pinot Noir with Chardonnay from eight historic Grands Crus, which are amongst the most prestigious in the Champagne region.
Veuve Clicquot is a renowned Champagne house with a legacy that spans over 200 years. Founded in 1772 in Reims, France, by Philippe Clicquot-Muiron, the house gained fame under the leadership of Madame Clicquot, the widow (veuve in French) of François Clicquot.
