Salon is a unique champagne. A single terroir, a single cru and a single grape variety. It is produced only in exceptional years (there were only 37 releases in the entirety of the 20th century). Blanc-De-Blancs Champagnes are produced from 100% Chardonnay grapes.
Champagne Salon
Salon was created in 1911. It produces Blanc des Blancs Champagne (made from Chardonnay grapes only) from over 40-year-old vines in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger. Salon produces only vintage Champagne - the only wine in the world not to be made every year and is on average, only declared three times a decade.
