Essencia is the richest and sweetest of Tokaji wines, produced only in exceptional years from the free-run juice of the aszú berries. Royal Tokaji has offered a very limited quantity of Essencia- only a handful of times in its nineteen-year history. It is so incredibly rich and concentrated that it’s to be served in a spoon rather than a glass.
This 2000 vintage was aged in glass jars and bottled in September 2007. The wine has 620 grams of sugar per litre.
This lot includes a branded crystal serving spoon.
