Placing a Maximum Bid

Château Ausone is an iconic estate that has held rank of Premier Grand Cru Classe "A" in each Classification of Saint-Émilion since the qualification's formation in 1959. In 2021 Château Ausone voluntary withdrew from the official Saint-Émilion classification system as they did not agree with the new classification specifications.
The wines are typically a blend of 50-60% Cabernet Franc and 40-50% Merlot from old vines with an average age of 55+ years, their Cabernet Franc Vines are seriously old at over 100 years of age.
