Château Lafite-Rothschild 2011 Pauillac 1er-Cru 6x75cl

Classic Cabernet Sauvignon dominant, left-bank Bordeaux-blend; matured in new oak barrels for between 18 to 20 months.

Château Lafite Rothschild is an iconic first-growth property in Pauillac, North West of Bordeaux, France with vines first planted in the late 16th century by the Ségur family. It achieved its top-tier rank in 1855 and has been in the Rothschild family since 1868.

Lafite was listed as one of only four 1st Growths in the famed 1855 Classification of Medoc - though sister-estate Château Mouton-Rothschild gained promotion from 2nd (2eme Cru) to 1st-Growth in 1973.

Châ​teau Petrus 2002 Pomerol

Châ​teau Petrus is undisputedly the top wine estate in the Bordeaux right-bank appellation of Pomerol and rightly lays claim to being one of the most famous estates in the world of wine.  Unofficially recognised as a \"Premier Grand Cru\" (no such classification exists in Pomerol), Petrus is considered first-among-equals with the likes of Mouton- and Lafite-Rothschild in regards to both quality and iconic stature. As there is no second wine at Pétrus, where the declassified juice ends up is one of the wine world’s great mysteries.

Petrus is small estate of just 11.4 hectares (28 acres) and produces its single-varietal wine entirely from Merlot grapes. Prior to 2010, small amounts of Cabernet Franc were used in some vintages. The wines are aged in 100% new oak barrels for an average of 20 months.

Fonseca 1970 Vintage Port / Matthew Gloag and Son 12x75cl

Vintage Port is a specific style of Ruby Port which is made only in exceptional years and from the ripest grapes. The fermented wine is fortified before being aged for 2 years in massive oak vats which preserve the ripe fruit character. Old vine Chardonnay from the renowned single vineyard of Les Rougeots in the iconic Burgundian appellation of Meursault, within the subregion of Côte-de-Beaune.

The acclaimed Domaine Coche-Dury was founded in 1973 by Jean-François Coche and is famed for it's top class Chardonnay. Their Les Rougeots is produced from a very small plot of vines planted in 1940, 1962 and 1973.

Château Haut-Brion 2005 Pessac-Léognan Pessac-Leognan 1er-Grand-Cru 150cl

From the appellation of Pessac-Léognan (originally Graves before 1987), Château Haut-Brion is one of the great Bordeaux wine estates, listed as one of only five 1st Growth (1er-Cru) in the famed 1855 Classification of Médoc. Although Haut Brion was located in Graves (the other four are in the Médoc), the Château was recognised for the exceptional quality of its wines and has always merited its place amongst the finest wines of Bordeaux and indeed the world.

The wines of Château Haut-Brion feature varying compositions of approximately 40-50% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40-60% Merlot, with Cabernet Franc; matured in oak barrels (approximately 70-80% new) for 18-22 months.

DOC Barbaresco is one of the great - yet largely unsung - wines of Italy.  Similar to it's more famous neighbour, Barolo; Barbaresco is made from Nebbiolo grapes and must be aged for a minimum of 26 months (at least 9 months in wooden barrels) prior to release.

Gaja are one of the most renowned wine producers in Italy. Founded in 1859 by Giovanni Gaja, the estate has since been owned and operated by five generations of the Gaja family.

Domaine Arnaud Ente 2003 Meursault Clos des Ambres 2x75cl

Chardonnay from the iconic Burgundian appellation of Meursault.; Matured for 16 months in 20% new French oak barrels. 

Domaine Arnaud Ente was established in 1992 and has quickly become one of the finest estates in Meursault. Production is tiny, and comes from just four hectares (10 acres) of vines.

This particular release is the Domaine’s ‘Clos des Ambres’, made from old vines planted in the lieu-dit 'En L`Ormeau'.
