Terre del Barolo 1979 Barolo

Founded in 1958, Terre del Barolo is a cooperative winery based in Castiglione Falletto with more than three hundred members.

Barolo, often referred to as the “king of wines”,  must always be made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes-, and matured for a minimum period of 38 months, 18 of which must be in oak barrels - (traditionally in large Slavonian oak casks).

Barolo wine comes from a traditional village of the same name located in the northern region of Piemonte. It is so revered that it was one of just three wines awarded DOCG status on the same day that the classification was introduced in July 1980. The region encompasses 11 villages in the heart of Piemonte, Most of the estates are small and family-owned, therefore production of wines from the Barolo DOCG is low.

Topper's Mountain 'Hill of Dreams' Sauvignon Blanc 2019 New England, Australia

Sauvignon Blanc from the Australia's New England wine region: matured in old French oak barrels. 

The New England wine region was officially established in 2008 and is located in northern New South Wales. The majority of wineries in the area located at a considerable altitude, between 400-1000 metres.

Taylor's 1978 LBV Port 150cl

1978 Late Bottled Vintage from the renowned house of Taylor's. Bottled in 1983.

Late Bottled Vintage (LBV) Port is a specific style of Ruby Port in which the fortified wine - from a single, specified vintage - is aged for an extended period of time before bottling. Unlike Vintage Ports, LBV Ports do not continue to mature in the bottle.

Taylor Fladgate & Yeatman, more commonly known as \"Taylor’s\" was founded in 1692 and is one of the largest, oldest and most well-known of all the founding Port houses with over three centuries of production.

This is a 1.5 litre magnum bottle. Large-format bottles are great for extended ageing periods due to the wine's slower rate of maturation.

Nicolas Potel 1999 Romanée Saint-Vivant Grand Cru

Burgundian Pinot Noir from the exceptional Grand Cru vineyard and appellation of Romanée-Saint-Vivant in the Côte de Nuits sub-region.

In 2008 the Nicolas Potel estate and name were sold to Cottin Freres (owner of Laboure-Roi). Potel now sells his wines under the names Domaine de Bellene and a négociant  label Maison Roche de Bellene.
