Marques De Murrieta \"Castillo Ygay\" 1978 Rioja Gran Reserva Especial 3x 75cl

Tempranillo dominant blend from the iconic Marques De Murrieta in the Rioja region of northern Spain. Castillo Ygay is the estate's flagship wine; Matured in American Oak barriques for a period in excess of the minimum 24 months required to classify as Gran Reserva.

Marqués de Murrieta is the oldest family winery based in Rioja, concentrating exclusively on the production of premium Reserva and Gran Reserva wines since 1852.

This 1978 vintage of their famous Gran Reserva Especial is a blend of 75% Tempranillo, 12% Mazuelo (aka Carignan), 10 Garnacha Tinta and 3% Graciano: matured for an impressive 18 years (216 months) in American oak barrels.

Le Petit Mouton De Mouton-Rothschild 1996 Pauillac

Le Petit Mouton is the second wine from the 1st-Growth (1er-Cru) Pauillac estate, Chateau Mouton-Rothschild. Produced since the 1993 vintage, it takes it's name after the residence of its owner, Philippine de Rothschild.

Classic Cabernet Sauvignon dominant, left-bank Bordeaux-blend - sourced from younger vines than used in their grand vin; matured in oak barrels for an undisclosed period of time.

Château Mouton-Rothschild is one of the great Bordeaux wine estates.  In spite of its prominence, the estate was listed as only a 2nd-Growth in the famed 1855 Classification of Medoc - an injustice that was finally confirmed with their promotion to the exclusive rank of 1st-Growth in 1973.

Chardonnay from the Burgundian Premier-Cru vineyard and appellation of Meursault-Blagny, within the subregion of Côte-de-Beaune. 

The Latour family have long been established in Burgundy’s wine trade. Originally vine growers in the village of Aloxe-Corton as early as 1768, they went on to establish today’s business, Maison Louis Latour. Today they are one of the best known and largest vineyard owners of grand cru sites in Burgundy.

Laurent-Perrier Grand Siècle NV Champagne

Grand Siècle is a blend of three vintages in order to recreate the perfect year. Since 1959, Grand Siècle has been been produced only 25 times.

The house of Laurent-Perrier was founded in 1811 by by André Michel Pierlot in the Grand Cru village of Tours-sur-Marne, and produces both vintage and non-vintage cuvee. The identity of Laurent-Perrier Champagne centres on Chardonnay, but also brings together the best Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier terroirs.

Non-vintage Champagne from legendary producer, Louis Roederer.

Brut Premier represents Louis Roederer's 'House Style'. It is a blend of approx. 40% Pinot noir, 40% Chardonnay, and 20% Pinot Meunier from various crus selected by Louis Roederer and is aged for 3 years.

This is a 1.5 litre magnum bottle. Large-format bottles are great for extended ageing periods due to the wine's slower rate of maturation.
