Egly-Ouriet, based in the village of Ambonnay was established in 1930 by the current owner Francis Egly's grandfather. The house primarily produces single-vineyard, vintage Champagnes from some of the most renowned Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyards within Champagne such as Ambonnay, Bouzy, Verzenay and Vrigny.
