Dão

Dão is a wine-producing region located in the central northern part of Portugal, known for its red wines made from local grape varieties such as Touriga Nacional and Jaen. The region's high altitude vineyards, granite soils, and cool climate contribute to the production of wines with good acidity, firm tannins, and a long aging potential.
