Bulgaria

Bulgaria is a wine-producing country located in the Balkans, with a winemaking tradition that dates back to the times of the Thracians in the 4th century BC. Although small, the country's wine industry is growing and is most notably located within in Danubian Plains and Thracian Lowlands region. Although indigenous grapes are grown, they have mostly been replaced by imported French varieties in recent decades.
