Stag's Leap Wine Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon 1973
One of the most famous American wines of all time, this 1973 vintage "SLV" Cabernet Sauvignon from Stag's Leap Wine Cellars is the legendary bottle that took the top honours at the Judgement of Paris blind tasting event in 1976. The event sent shockwaves through the wine world at the time as Stag's Leap (only in its sixth year of production) scored better than some of the most famous Bordeaux wineries.
Very few of these bottles still exist and it has become something of a holy grail for wine collectors everywhere.
