Cream sherry is a sweetened blend of dry wine such as Oloroso with naturally sweet Pedro Ximénez, Moscatel or Amontillado sherries.
Sherry is exclusively produced in the region of Jerez, Spain. It is made from three traditional white wine grapes only. The Palomino grape is the most commonly used along with Moscatel and Pedro Ximenez.
Pedro Ximénez is a white wine grape variety that is grown in the Andalusia region of Spain. It is most commonly used to produce a sweet, fortified wine of the same name, which is characterized by its rich, raisin flavour and thick, syrupy texture.
Spain is one of the largest wine-producing countries in the world and is known for its rich and flavourful red wines, particularly those from the Rioja region.
