Red wine made from 100% Bobal grapes from the Manchuela wine region in the eastern part of Castilla-La Mancha, Spain: aged for 4 months in French oak.
Bottled for the Wine Society by Altolandon.
Bobal is a red grape variety native to Spain, mainly grown in the Utiel-Requena region. Known for its thick skins and drought resistance, it produces deeply coloured wines with fresh acidity and flavours of dark fruit. Traditionally blended, it is now also made as a varietal wine.
Spain is one of the largest wine-producing countries in the world and is known for its rich and flavourful red wines, particularly those from the Rioja region.
