R. López de Heredia 'Tondonia' 1998 Rioja Reserva

Tempranillo dominant red wine from the famed Rioja region in northern Spain; Classified as a Reserva, this wine was matured for a minimum period of 36 months including 12 months in oak barrels.

Established by Don Rafael López de Heredia in 1877, R. López de Heredia (Viña Tondonia) is one of the most well known and respected wineries in Rioja today. It is the oldest winery in the emblematic town of Haro and one of the first three set up in La Rioja. It continues to be a family run estate with the fourth generation now running the business. 

Rioja is arguably Spain's top wine region and is one of only two regions classified under the Denominación de Origen Calificada (DOCa) system. Other than Tempranillo and Garnacha, Graciano and Mazuelo (Carignan) are also used in the red wines of Rioja.

This 2013 vintage is made from a blend of 53% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Cabernet Franc and 20% Merlot. 

Royal Tokaji 'Szt. Tamás' 5 Puttonyos 1991 Tokaji Aszú 1er-Cru 50cl

The wines of the famed Tokaji wine region of northeastern Hungary are predominantly produced from the white wine grapes Furmint, which are left on the vines until affected by the noble fungus, Botrytis Cinerea, which dehydrates the grapes to raisins, leaving only the sweet sugary pulp.

Tokaji wines are classified by sweetness, from 1 Puttonyos (dry) to 7 Puttonyos (absolute sweetness) and can be produced from the following grapes; Furmint, Hárslevelű, Yellow Muscat, Zéta (aka Oremus), Kövérszőlő and Kabar.

Szt. Tamás is a renowned First Growth (1er-Cru) vineyard sloping south-west and overlooking the Royal Tokaji winery in Mád.

The Napa Valley wine region is arguably California's best known wine producing area, famed for its Cabernet Sauvignon and Bordeaux-style blends. It was officially recognised for its high-quality wines and distinctive regional terroir when it became California’s first American Viticultural Area (AVA) in 1981. 

Ruinart Brut Rosé NV Champagne / One-For-Two

This release is named One-For-Two and is complete with a porcelain pourer designed by Ruinart which enables the serving of two Champagne flutes at once.

Châteauneuf-du-Pape is one of France's iconic appellations. Located in the Southern Rhône Valley, the appellation is most commonly known for its Grenache-dominant red wines with Syrah and Mourvèdre lead the cast of supporting grapes. White wines are also produced in exceedingly smaller volumes.

The internationally recognised region has a Mediterranean climate and is synonymous with Australia's signature grape, Shiraz. The area also boasts some of the world's oldest continually producing Shiraz, Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon and Riesling vines. Other prominent grapes of the region include, Semillon, Viognier and Mouvedre.

Real Companhia Velha 'Royal Oporto' 1977 Vintage Port

A 1977 vintage port from the renowned house of Real Companhia Velha.

Founded in 1756 by the Silva Reis family and still today owned and operated by that same family almost 3 centuries later - Royal Oporto is the flagship brand of the Real Companhia Velha which is one of the oldest wine companies in Portugal.

Vintage Port is produced only in the most exceptional deemed years from a single harvest. The fermented wine is fortified before being aged for 2-3 years in massive oak vats which preserve the ripe fruit character. Upon bottling, the wines continue to age and can reward patient maturation for many decades. The decision to declare a vintage is made by the individual Port house. 

Ramos Pinto 2000 Vintage Port

Ricasoli Castello Di Brolio 1964 Chianti Classico 3x72cl

Sangiovese dominant blend from the iconic wine-region of Chianti in the heart of Tuscany.

Chianti Classico wines must contain a minimum of 80% of Sangiovese. The remainder can be made from native grapes such as Canaiolo or Colorino, as well as international varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Wines made only from Sangiovese have been permitted since 1996.

Kay Brothers is a family owned estate founded in 1890 by brothers Herbert & Frederick Kay- making it the oldest winery still in operation in McLaren Vale. Their wines are produced in small batches using the original open fermenters, hand plunging and our heritage 1928 basket press.

Ruffino 1977 Chianti 3x75cl

Chianti is a classic red wine from the heartland of Tuscany - one of Italy's iconic wine regions.

Many Chianti wines are made from 100% Sangiovese, however the region rules stipulate that the wines can be made from a minimum of 80% Sangiovese, with up to 20% of the final blend permitted to be constituted from a handful of other approved grape varieties such as Cabernet, Merlot and Syrah.

Real Companhia Velha Royal Oporto 10 Year Old Tawny Port / Bottled 1998 37.5cl

Tawny Port is a particular style of Port in which the fortified wines are aged for a number of years in small oak casks.  This process of deliberate and careful oxidative maturation imparts typical characteristics of stewed fruits, nuts and leather. Tawny port are non-vintage wines which come in various styles, primarily recognised by the length of time the wine has been aged. The wines do not age or improve further upon bottling.
