Château Clerc-Milon is a 5th Growth (5eme Cru) estate in the 1855 Classification of the Medoc. Located between the renowned Chateaux Lafite-Rothschild and Mouton-Rothschild, Château Clerc Milon was purchased by the Rothschild (Mouton) family in 1970. Prior to 1970, it was known as Château Clerc-Milon Mondon.

The wine is a classic Cabernet Sauvignon dominant, left-bank Bordeaux-blend; matured in oak barrels for 16 to 18 months.

These 12 bottles are presented in their original wooden case.

Pinot Noir from the Premier Cru vineyard of Les Champeaux in the Burgundian appellation of Gevrey-Chambertin, within the subregion of Côte-de-Nuits.

Gevrey-Chambertin is the largest wine-producing village in Burgundy's Côte d'Or. The renowned region is home to 26 Premier Cru and 9 Grand-Cru climats which can produce some of the world's most sought-after wines. The appellation is permitted to produce only red wine from Pinot Noir grapes, although regulations allow up to 15% of the white wine grapes; Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc to be blended into the red wine, however this is rarley practised. 

The approximately 17 acre (Les) Champeaux vineyard is planted entirely with Pinot Noir and is the northernmost Premier-Cru in Gevrey-Chambertin.

A classic Merlot dominant, right-bank Bordeaux-blend from the appellation of Saint-Émilion.

Château La Fleur-Pourret was purchased by Domaines Manoncourt in 2002, who also owns and manages the renowned Château Figeac. 

Saint-Émilion is located in the Libournais district of Bordeaux's Right Bank. Merlot is the primary grape variety used in the wines blended with Cabernet Franc and/or Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenere, Petit Verdot and Malbec are also permitted but rarely used.

There is a fairly complicated classification system for the appellation which includes; Premier Grand Cru Classé A, Premier Grand Cru Classé B and Grand Cru Classé. Saint-Émilion Grand Cru may also be noted on labels but without the word \"Classé\", this means the wine is not part of this classification system. In recent years some top producers in the area have voluntarily withdrawn for the classification system.

Vintage Port is produced only in the most exceptional deemed years from a single harvest. The fermented wine is fortified before being aged for 2-3 years in massive oak vats which preserve the ripe fruit character. Upon bottling, the wines continue to age and can reward patient maturation for many decades. The decision to declare a vintage is made by the individual Port house. 

One of the great houses of Port- the name Dow has been associated with quality Port wine from the vineyards of the Upper Douro Valley for over two centuries.

Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnels, classic Cabernet Sauvignon dominant Bordeaux-blend from the left-bank appellation of Saint Estèphe; This wine is typically aged for 14-16 months in 35-50% new French oak. 

The vineyards of Châ​teau Ormes de Pez are planted to 54% Cabernet Sauvignon, 37% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot - A ratio in which the wine roughly follows with slight vintage variation. 

Châ​teau Les Ormes de Pez is owned by the Cazes family, also owners of the renowned Château Lynch-Bages since 1939.

Placing a Maximum Bid

Placing a Single Bid

Our monthly auctions end from 7:00 PM (UK local time) on the closing date. If a bid is placed after 7:00 PM on any lot, the entire auction will be extended by an additional two minutes. 

The auction will end once all bidding has ceased for two minutes. Based on previous auction activity, the auction will continue for several hours and is most likely to finish between 9pm - 11pm (UK local time).
