Château Clerc Milon 2008 Pauillac 5eme-Cru 12x75cl

Château Clerc-Milon is a 5th Growth (5eme Cru) estate in the 1855 Classification of the Medoc. Located between the renowned Chateaux Lafite-Rothschild and Mouton-Rothschild, Château Clerc Milon was purchased by the Rothschild (Mouton) family in 1970. Prior to 1970, it was known as Château Clerc-Milon Mondon.

The wine is a classic Cabernet Sauvignon dominant, left-bank Bordeaux-blend; matured in oak barrels for 16 to 18 months.

These 12 bottles are presented in their original wooden case.

Domaine De L'Arlot 1993 Romanee Saint-Vivant Grand Cru

Pinot Noir from the Grand Cru vineyard of Romanée Saint-Vivant in the Burgundian appellation of Vosne-Romanee.

Located 2 kilometres to the south of Nuits Saint Georges, at Premeaux-Prissey, the Domaine de l'Arlot is a classic example of a Burgundian winery.

Château Lafaurie-Peyraguey​ 1989 Sauternes 1er-Cru 12x75cl

Château Lafaurie-Peyraguey was ranked, as part of the former Chateau Peyraguey, as a First Growth Premier Cru (1er-Cru) in Bordeaux' famed 1855 Classification of the Gironde.

The wines of Sauternes are produced from a blend of Sémillon, Sauvignon Blanc and occasionally a small amount of Muscadelle, left on the vines until affected by the noble fungus, Botrytis Cinerea, which dehydrates the grapes to raisins, leaving only the sweet sugary pulp with which to make the one of the worlds most sought after sweet wines.

Château Margaux 1989 Margaux 1er-Cru

Giving its estate's name to the greater appellation and ranked as one of the original four First Growths (Premier Crus) in the famed 1855 Classification of the Médoc, Château Margaux is one of the great Bordeaux wine estates.

Its history can be traced back to the 12th century when it was known as \"La Mothe de Margaux,\" a fortified castle. Château Margaux's vineyards are situated on gravelly soils along the left bank of the Gironde estuary, providing excellent drainage and optimal sun exposure for grape cultivation.

Chateau d'Yquem 1966 Sauternes 1er-Cru-Superior

One of the world’s most prized and enviable wines, Château d’Yquem is Sauternes’ only classified Premier-Cru-Supérieur.

Château d'Yquem can trace it's history back to 1593, the estate has long been recognised for its unique terroir, situated on a hilltop with well-draining gravel and clay soils that are perfect for cultivating Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc.

The region's misty mornings and warm afternoons encourage the development of noble rot (Botrytis cinerea), which concentrates the grapes' sugars and flavours. Château d'Yquem was classified as a Premier Cru Supérieur in the 1855 Bordeaux Classification, the highest possible ranking, highlighting its unparalleled quality and longevity. Château Langoa Barton 1989 St-Julien 3eme-Cru 7x75cl

Located within the appellation of Saint-Julien, Château Langoa Barton is a 3rd Growth (3ème Cru) estate in the 1855 Classification of the Medoc.

Classic Cabernet Sauvignon dominant, left-bank Bordeaux-blend; Matured for approximately 20 months; 50% new French Oak barrels.

Château Langoa-Barton was the first of two Bordeaux wine estates bought by Hugh Barton in the 1820s, the other being Leoville-Barton, a 2nd Classified Growth estate. Out of all the 1855 Classified Growths, it is one of the few Chateau's that is still in the hands of the same family that was the owner at the time of the classification, currently managed by Lilian Barton Satrorius.

Domaine Maume 'Champeaux' 1990 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er-Cru 5x75cl

Pinot Noir from the Premier Cru vineyard of Les Champeaux in the Burgundian appellation of Gevrey-Chambertin, within the subregion of Côte-de-Nuits.

Gevrey-Chambertin is the largest wine-producing village in Burgundy's Côte d'Or. The renowned region is home to 26 Premier Cru and 9 Grand-Cru climats which can produce some of the world's most sought-after wines. The appellation is permitted to produce only red wine from Pinot Noir grapes, although regulations allow up to 15% of the white wine grapes; Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc to be blended into the red wine, however this is rarley practised. 

The approximately 17 acre (Les) Champeaux vineyard is planted entirely with Pinot Noir and is the northernmost Premier-Cru in Gevrey-Chambertin.

Château Beychevelle 1988 Saint-Julien 4eme-Cru 6x75cl

Cabernet Sauvignon dominant, left-bank Bordeaux-blend; matured for approximately 18 months in French Oak barrels (50% New).

Located in the appellation of Saint-Julien, the prestigious Château Beychevelle is a 4th Growth (4eme Cru) estate in the 1855 Classification of the Medoc.

Beychevelle means “lower sails\" and was named in honour of Jean-Louis Nogaret de la Valette (Duke of Eperon) - the first owner of Beychevelle, who was also a Navy Admiral of France. Today the Chateau is owned by Grands Millésimes de France (Castel and Suntory Group).

Château Ausone 1995 Saint-Émilion 1er-Grand-Cru

Châ​teau​ Ausone is an iconic estate that has held rank of Premier Grand Cru Classe \"A\" in each Classification of Saint-Émilion since the qualification's formation in 1959. In 2021 Château Ausone voluntary withdrew from the official Saint-Émilion classification system as they did not agree with the new classification specifications.

The wines are typically a blend of 50 - 60% Cabernet Franc and 40 - 50% Merlot from old vines with an average age of 55+ years, their Cabernet Franc Vines are seriously old at over 100 years of age! Matured for 18 - 24 months, most vintages in 100% new oak.

Château Musar 2013 Bekaa Valley 6x75cl

Château Musar Red is a blend comprising of Cabernet Sauvignon, Carignan and Cinsault from Lebanon's Bekaa Valley; Aged in French oak for 12 months. 

Château Musar was created in 1930 by Gaston Hochar. In recent years Château Musar has become the first producer in Lebanon to achieve organic certification for its vineyards. Today the Chateau is one of the leading wineries increasing wide-spread recognition of Lebanon's wines and wine-history.

Château La Fleur-Pourret 2009 Saint-Émilion 6x75cl

A classic Merlot dominant, right-bank Bordeaux-blend from the appellation of Saint-Émilion.

Château La Fleur-Pourret was purchased by Domaines Manoncourt in 2002, who also owns and manages the renowned Château Figeac. 

Saint-Émilion is located in the Libournais district of Bordeaux's Right Bank. Merlot is the primary grape variety used in the wines blended with Cabernet Franc and/or Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenere, Petit Verdot and Malbec are also permitted but rarely used.

There is a fairly complicated classification system for the appellation which includes; Premier Grand Cru Classé A, Premier Grand Cru Classé B and Grand Cru Classé. Saint-Émilion Grand Cru may also be noted on labels but without the word \"Classé\", this means the wine is not part of this classification system. In recent years some top producers in the area have voluntarily withdrawn for the classification system.

Château Ausone 1995 Saint-Émilion 1er-Grand-Cru

Château Latour 1975 Pauillac 1er Cru

From the Pauillac appellation and ranked as one of the original four First Growths (Premier Crus) in the famed 1855 Classification of the Médoc.

Château Latour's Grand Vin is a classic left-bank Bordeaux-blend, produced exclusively from grapes picked from old-vines with Cabernet Sauvignon contributing to over 90% of the final blend.; Maturation takes place in French Oak barrels for 18 months.

Dow's 1985 Vintage Port 6x75cl

1985 vintage Port from the house of Dow's. Bottled in 1987.

Vintage Port is produced only in the most exceptional deemed years from a single harvest. The fermented wine is fortified before being aged for 2-3 years in massive oak vats which preserve the ripe fruit character. Upon bottling, the wines continue to age and can reward patient maturation for many decades. The decision to declare a vintage is made by the individual Port house. 

One of the great houses of Port- the name Dow has been associated with quality Port wine from the vineyards of the Upper Douro Valley for over two centuries.

Once belonging to the Carmelite monks in Langon, the renowned Château Rieussec is now owned by Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite), since they purchased the estate in 1984. Chateau Rieussec was ranked as a First Growth Premier Cru (1er-Cru) in Bordeaux' famed 1855 Classification of the Medoc.

From the Bordeaux appellation of Saint-Estèphe, Château Calon-Ségur is a 3rd Growth (3eme Cru) estate in the 1855 Classification of the Medoc. The Château is home to one of the few walled vineyards in the Left Bank and is the most northerly of all the Médoc Grand-Crus Classés.

Typically a classic Bordeaux-blend of Cabernet Sauvignon dominance, with Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot; Matured in 100% new oak barrels for 18-20 months.

Châ​teau Ormes de Pez 1986 Saint-Estèphe 12x75cl

Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnels, classic Cabernet Sauvignon dominant Bordeaux-blend from the left-bank appellation of Saint Estèphe; This wine is typically aged for 14-16 months in 35-50% new French oak. 

The vineyards of Châ​teau Ormes de Pez are planted to 54% Cabernet Sauvignon, 37% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot - A ratio in which the wine roughly follows with slight vintage variation. 

Châ​teau Les Ormes de Pez is owned by the Cazes family, also owners of the renowned Château Lynch-Bages since 1939.
