Disznókő '5 Puttonyos' 1993 Tokaji Aszú 50cl

The wines of the famed Tokaji wine region of northeastern Hungary are predominantly produced from the white wine grapes Furmint, which are left on the vines until affected by the noble fungus, Botrytis Cinerea, which dehydrates the grapes to raisins, leaving only the sweet sugary pulp.

Tokaji wines are classified by sweetness, from 1 Puttonyos (dry) to 7 Puttonyos (absolute sweetness) and can be produced from the following grapes; Furmint, Hárslevelű, Yellow Muscat, Zéta (aka Oremus), Kövérszőlő and Kabar.

Chardonnay from the Grand Cru vineyard of Les Blanchots in the iconic Burgundian appellation of Chablis.

Chablis is located in northern Burgundy and is one of the most well-known wine regions in France producing world renowned cool-climate Chardonnay. Compared to other Burgundian Chardonnays, Chablis wines typically have little or no oak influence- though many of the Grand Cru and Premier Cru wines receive some maturation in oak barrels.

Domaine Fouassier 'Clos Paradis' 2016 Sancerre 5x75cl

Sauvignon Blanc from the iconic Loire Valley appellation of Sancerre. Clos Paradis is made from vines aged 30-50 years.

Sancerre is a small appellation located in the eastern part of the Loire valley famous for it's world renowned Sauvignon Blanc- although it also produces a small amount of red and rosé wine made from Pinot Noir. Almost all of the appellation lies on the left bank of the Loire, opposite Pouilly-Fumé

Prunotto 1975 Barolo Riserva

Barolo, often referred to as \"The King Of Wines\" is always made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes, as a Riserva classification, this wine was matured in oak for a minimum period of 36 months- traditionally in large Slavonian oak casks.

Barolo wine comes from a traditional village of the same name located in the northern region of Piemonte. It is so revered that it was one of just three wines awarded DOCG status on the same day that the classification was introduced in July 1980. The region encompasses 11 villages in the heart of Piedmont, most of the estates are small and family-owned and so production is low.

De Toren 'Fusion V' 2000 Coastal Region

A Cabernet Sauvignon dominant left bank Bordeaux-style blend from South Africa's Coastal Region located in Western Cape.

Fusion V was first released with the 1999 vintage and is made from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (50-60%) with Malbec, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot; matured for 12 months in 225 litre French and American oak barrels.

Domaine Michel Gros 2011 Vosne-Romanée

Pinot Noir from the famed the Burgundian appellation of Vosne-Romanée.

The great Domaine Jean Gros was divided between Jean's three children upon his retirement and the new Domaines: Anne-Françoise's Gros (A.-F. Gros), Domaine Michel Gros and Domaine Gros Frère & Soeur, were created.

The renowned Vosne-Romanée appellation is located in Burgundy's Côte de Nuits and famed for it's high quality wines made from Pinot Noir. Though most wines produced are 100% Pinot Noir, regulations allow for the addition of up to 15% of the white wine grapes Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Gris to be included, however this is rarely utilised by producers. Originally called Vosne until 1866 when Romanée was added paying homage to it's most famed vineyard- La Romanée. The area is also home to other prized Premier and Grand Cru vineyards: Romanée-Conti, La Grand Rue, La Tâche, Richebourg and Romanée-Saint-Vivant.

Domaines Barons De Rothschild (Lafite) \"Reserve Speciale\" 1990 Pauillac

From the Pauillac appellation and ranked as one of the original four 1st Growths (1er-Cru) in the famed 1855 Classification of Medoc, Chateau Lafite-Rothschild is one of the great Bordeaux wine estates.

This bottle of Domaine Barons De Rothschild (Lafite) \"Reserve Speciale\" is made from grapes grown on younger vines within the historic vineyards of Chateau Lafite-Rothschild.

Philippe Leclerc la Combe aux Moines 2005 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er-Cru

Pinot Noir from the Premier Cru vineyard of la Combe aux Moines within the famed Burgundian appellation of Gevrey-Chambertin.

Gevrey-Chambertin is the largest wine-producing village in Burgundy's Côte d'Or. The renowned region is home to 26 Premier Cru and 9 Grand-Cru climats which can produce some of the world's most sought-after wines. The appellation is permitted to produce only red wine from Pinot Noir grapes, although regulations allow up to 15% of the white wine grapes; Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc to be blended into the red wine, however this is rarley practised. 

La Combe aux Moines is one of the most highly regarded Premier Cru vineyards in Gevrey-Chambertin.

It is so revered that it was one of just three wines awarded DOCG status on the same day that the classification was introduced in July 1980. The region encompasses 11 villages in the heart of Piemonte, Most of the estates are small and family-owned, therefore production of wines from the Barolo DOCG is low.

Pio Cesare were pioneers of Barolo and Barbaresco. Founded in 1881 by Cesare Pio, the family operation has been producing world renowned wines for 135 years.

Dr. Loosen 'Erdener Prälat' Riesling Auslese 2006 Mosel

Semi-sweet Riesling from the single vineyard of Erdener Prälat, located in Germany's famous Mosel river valley, just west of Frankfurt.

Auslese is a term used for a semi-sweet or sweet style of German wine, made from individually-selected bunches of very ripe grapes based on their ripeness level and sugar content, some of which have may have been affected by noble rot. The wines can also ben made and labelled as Auslese Trocken, which indicates a dry style.

Penfolds 'Bin 389' Cabernet-Shiraz 2018 South Australia

A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz from South Australia.

First made in 1960, Bin 389 is often referred to as ‘Baby Grange’ because components of the wine are matured in the same barrels that held the previous vintage of Grange.

Penfolds is one of Australia's great iconic wineries and has been making world renowned wines since 1844. It was established at Magill Estate in the Adelaide Hills in 1844 by Dr Christopher Rawson Penfold and his wife Mary who In the early years, produced and sold fortified wines. Today Penfolds offer a huge variety of wines ranging from entry-level to premier offerings such as their flagship \"Grange\". On its 50th birthday in 2001, Grange was listed as a South Australian heritage icon.

Pol Roger Brut Réserve NV Champagne / Special Forces Club

The famed Champagne Wine Region located in the northeast of France is renowned for producing the world's most celebrated sparkling wine. Champagne is typically made from one or a combination of the three predominant grape varieties, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, although there are four other lesser-known grape varieties that are permitted to be included: Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Petit Meslier and Arbane.

Pol Roger was founded in 1849 and is one of only a few Champagne houses that remains family owned and operated to this day. Pol Roger Brut is made from a Pinot Noir (60%) dominant blend with 40% Chardonnay and is aged for 8 years in the Pol Roger cellars prior to release.

Domaine de la Motte Moelleux 1990 Coteaux du Layon Rochefort-sur-Loire 6x75cl

Sweet Chenin Blanc from the parish of Rochefort-sur-Loire in the Anjou commune of the Loire Valley appellation of Coteaux Du Layon.

The wines of Coteaux du Layon are made from grapes that are very ripe, sun-dried on the vine, or affected by the \"Noble Rot\", botrytis cinerea, which dehydrates the grapes to raisins, leaving only the sweet sugary pulp with which to make the sweet wine.

Paul Jaboulet 'Les Jalets' 1999 Crozes-Hermitage 4x75cl

Syrah from the renowned Paul Jaboulet estate located in the iconic northern Rhône Valley appellation of Crozes-Hermitage. Les Jalets is made from younger vines from the famous Thalabert vineyard.

The red wines of Crozes-Hermitage are produced from Syrah, though small volumes of  the white grapes Marsanne and Roussanne are permitted to be blended in to soften tannins if need be.

Upon bottling, the wines continue to age and can reward patient maturation for many decades. The decision to declare a vintage is made by the individual Port house.

Paul Jaboulet Aîné 1985 Crozes-Hermitage

Syrah from the renowned Paul Jaboulet estate located in the iconic northern Rhône Valley appellation of Crozes-Hermitage.

Paul Jaboulet is one of the most prominent names in the Rhône and Hermitage. La Chapelle is their flagship wine, made from 100% Syrah from a blend from their top sites including the acclaimed vineyards of Les Bessards, Le Meal and Les Rocoules. The estate also produce a \"La Chapelle blanc\" which is made from 100% Marsanne grapes. 

The red wines of Crozes-Hermitage are produced from Syrah, though small volumes of  the white grapes Marsanne and Roussanne are permitted to be blended in to soften tannins if need be.

Domaine Zind Humbrecht 'Clos Windsbuhl' 2016 Alsace

Dry Pinot Gris from the single vineyard of Clos Windsbuhl within the famed eastern French wine-region of Alsace.

The Clos Windsbuhl vineyard is located in the commune of Hunawihr and was purchased by Domaine Zind Humbrecht in 1987. It is located at around 350 meters above sea level.

The renowned Alsace wine region located in Eastern France, is home to aromatic white wines made from Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Pinot Blanc, Riesling, Sylvaner, Muscat d'Alsace and Pinot Gris. A small amount of red wine is also produced in the region, mostly from Pinot Noir grapes. The wines are permitted to be made in a dry or sweet style. The history of Alsace, flitting between French and German ownership for centuries, imparts itself within the region's wines - a cacophony of grapes native to both countries, ennobled and respected individually.

Domaine du Vieux Telegraphe 1988 Châteauneuf-du-Pape

Châteauneuf-du-Pape is one of France's iconic appellations. Located in the Southern Rhône Valley, the appellation is most commonly known for its Grenache-dominant red wines with Syrah and Mourvèdre lead the cast of supporting grapes. White wines are also produced in exceedingly smaller volumes.

The vineyards of Domaine Du Vieux Telegraphe are located on the celebrated plateau, La Crau, where vines have an average age of sixty years. Vieux Télégraphe has been owned by the Brunier family since 1891 and is one of the most renowned estates in the Southern Rhône Valley. Vieux Telegraphe Rouge is matured in French Oak barrels for approximately 20-22 months. 

Domaine Faiveley 'Les Porêts-St-Georges' 1993 Nuits-St-Georges 1er-Cru

Pinot Noir from the small Premier Cru vineyard of Les Porêts-St-Georges within the appellation of Nuits-Saint-Georges, Burgundy; Aged for 14-16 months in 70% lightly toasted new oak barrels.

Domaine Faiveley is one of the biggest and most renowned domains in Burgundy. The family-owned estate was founded in 1825 by Pierre Faiveley and is today in the hands of the seventh generation.

De Forville 'Rabajà' 1985 Barbaresco

DOC Barbaresco is one of the great - yet largely unsung - wines of Italy.  Similar to it's more famous neighbour, Barolo; Barbaresco is made from Nebbiolo grapes and must be aged for a minimum of 26 months (at least 9 months in wooden barrels) prior to release.

This wine comes from the renowned single vineyard of Rabajà.

Chardonnay from the Premier Cru vineyard of Les Champs Gain in the iconic Burgundian appellation of Puligny-Montrachet.
