Champagne Krug

Champagne Krug was established in 1843 by Joseph Krug in Reims, France, with the aim of producing Champagne that reflected a refined and consistent style. From its inception, the house emphasised the art of blending, sourcing wines from multiple vintages and vineyards to create a product that could evolve over time while maintaining its unique character.

Over the years, Krug has developed a reputation for its methodical approach to winemaking. The house’s signature non-vintage wine, Krug Grande Cuvée, is a result of blending over a hundred wines from more than a dozen vintages, demonstrating a commitment to complexity and balance. In addition, Krug has expanded its portfolio with notable expressions such as Krug Vintage, Krug Rosé, and single-vineyard Champagnes like Krug Clos du Mesnil and Krug Clos d'Ambonnay, each reflecting the distinct qualities of their respective terroirs.
