Rivera is a wine-making region located in the far northern region of Uruguay, near the country's border with Brazil. Its vineyards are known for producing a range of wine varieties, including Tannat, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot, as well as white wines such as Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc.
