Hunter Valley

Hunter Valley is one of Australia’s oldest and most prestigious wine regions, located in New South Wales, just north of Sydney. It has a rich winemaking history dating back to the early 19th century and is especially famous for producing world-class Semillon—a white wine that is crisp and citrusy when young, but develops complex, honeyed, toasty notes with age. The region also produces notable Shiraz, Chardonnay, and Verdelho.
