Belgium

Belgium is not typically thought of as a wine-producing country, but it does have a small and growing wine industry that has roots as far back as the 14th century. The majority of the country's output is white wine and rather than use domestic varieties, the preferred grapes of Belgian winemakers tending to be Chardonnay and Pinot Gris from France, and Kerner, Optima and Müller-Thurgau from Germany.
