Old-vine Shiraz from the McLaren Vale wine-region, just south of Adelaide.
d’Arenbergs flagship wine, Dead Arm Shiraz, takes it's name from the Dead Arm vine disease caused by the fungus Eutypa Lata. One half of the vine slowly becomes reduced to dead wood when the grapes on the other side, while low yielding, display higher intensity.
