Barolo wine comes from a traditional village of the same name located in the northern region of Piemonte. It is so revered that it was one of just three wines awarded DOCG status on the same day that the classification was introduced in July 1980. The region encompasses 11 villages in the heart of Piemonte, Most of the estates are small and family-owned, therefore production of wines from the Barolo DOCG is low.

100% Sangiovese from the Tuscan town of Montalcino.

Brunello di Montalcino is one of the great under-appreciated wines of Italy.  100% Sangiovese which undergoes an extended period of pre-fermentation maceration to extract maximum colour, flavour and tannins which affords the wine its ability to mature for long periods.  Brunello di Montalcino must be aged in oak - commonly Slavonian oak - for a minimum of 2 years, though traditionally winemakers would age their Brunellos in oak for at least 3 years before release.

2000 vintage sweet Sherry which has been made from Palomino grapes and matured for 17 years in ex-Oloroso Sherry casks following a static, oxidative ageing. 

Sherry is exclusively produced in the region of Jerez, Spain. It is made from three traditional white wine grapes only. The Palomino grape is the most commonly used along with Moscatel and Pedro Ximenez.

La Rioja Alta 'Viña Arana' 1973 Rioja Gran Reserva

Tempranillo dominant red wine from the famed Rioja region in northern Spain; Classified as a Gran Reserva, this wine was matured for a minimum period of 5 years including a minimum of 24 months in oak barrels.

Established in 1890, La Rioja Alta continues to be one of the benchmarks for traditionally produced Rioja wine today. Viña Arana is a blend of 95% tempranillo and 5% mazuelo and is matured for three years in oak and two years in bottle.

Rioja is arguably Spain's top wine region and is one of only two regions classified under the Denominación de Origen Calificada (DOCa) system. Other than Tempranillo and Garnacha, Graciano and Mazuelo (Carignan) are also used in the red wines of Rioja. 

Viña Arana is a blend of 95% Tempranillo and 5% Mazuelo and is matured for three years in oak and two years in bottle.

Château Leoville-Barton is a 2nd Growth (2eme Cru) estate which lies within the iconic terroir of Saint Julien in the Médoc. It is now one of only two chateau's from the 1855 Classification of the Medoc that remains in the hands of the same family that owned it at the time it was classified.

La Reserve De Leoville Barton is the second-wine of Château Léoville-Barton and is a classic Cabernet Sauvignon dominant, left-bank Bordeaux-blend; matured in previously used oak barrels for 16-18 months.

Sweet white wine made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc from Graves Superieur (Graves Supérieures) appellation in Bordeaux. 

The grapes for this wine were affected by the \"Noble Rot\", botrytis cinerea, which dehydrates the grapes to raisins, leaving only the sweet sugary pulp with which to make the most incredible sweet wine. Sélections de Grains Nobles wines must have a specific high sugar content when harvested and can only be sold after ageing for 18 months.

Founded in 1859 in Beaune, Louis Jadot is one of the most prestigious vignerons in all of Burgundy. This wine was matured for 18 months in 1/3 new barrels from the Louis Jadot cooperage.
