Classic Cabernet Sauvignon dominant, left-bank Bordeaux-blend; matured in new oak barrels for between 18 to 20 months.

Château Lafite Rothschild is an iconic first-growth property in Pauillac, North West of Bordeaux, France and is one of the most esteemed wine estates in the world. The first known recorded reference of Lafite dates all the way back to 1234 with vines first planted around the late 17th century by the Ségur family.

Lafite was listed as one of only four 1st Growths in the famed 1855 Classification of Medoc - though sister-estate Château Mouton-Rothschild gained promotion from 2nd (2eme Cru) to 1st-Growth in 1973.

The renowned Vosne-Romanée appellation is located in Burgundy's Côte de Nuits and famed for it's high quality wines made from Pinot Noir. Our monthly auctions end from 7:00 PM (UK local time) on the closing date. If a bid is placed after 7:00 PM on any lot, the entire auction will be extended by an additional two minutes. 

The auction will end once all bidding has ceased for two minutes. Based on previous auction activity, the auction will continue for several hours and is most likely to finish between 9pm - 11pm (UK local time).
