Commandaria

Commandaria is a wine region located in Cyprus, known for producing a sweet dessert wine of the same name that is considered one of the oldest wines in the world still in production. Made from a blend of two indigenous grape varieties, Xynisteri and Mavro, Commandaria is produced using a traditional method of sun-drying grapes before fermentation to concentrate the sugar and flavours.
