Chateaux Rothschild 1983 Pauillac 3x75cl Giftset / Original Wooden Case

A very interesting 3-bottle, 1983 vintage, comparative Bordeaux gift-set featuring a trio of classified Pauillac appellation wine estates, each owned by the Rothschild family:

  • Chateau Mouton-Rothschild 1983 Pauillac 1er-Cru - Approximately 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc and 1% Petit Verdot; matured in 100% new, French Oak barrels for 19-22 months.
  • Chateau Clerc-Milon 1983 Pauillac 5eme-Cru - Approximately 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc; matured in 30% new, French Oak barrels for 16-18 months.
  • Chateau Mouton Baronne-Philippe 1983 Pauillac 5eme-Cru - (now Ch. d'Armailhac), approximately 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Franc; matured in 30% new, 70% ex-Mouton-Rothschild, French Oak barrels for 14-16 months.

These 3 bottles are complete with their original wooden presentation case.

Our monthly auctions end from 7:00 PM (UK local time) on the closing date. If a bid is placed after 7:00 PM on any lot, the entire auction will be extended by an additional two minutes. 

The auction will end once all bidding has ceased for two minutes. Based on previous auction activity, the auction will continue for several hours and is most likely to finish between 9pm - 11pm (UK local time).
