Cabernet Sauvignon dominant blend with Cabernet Franc and Merlot, from Eden Valley, just northeast of Adelaide; Matured in new French Oak barrels for 21 months.

1868 marked the first recorded sale of Henschke wine. The historic estate has been family-owned for over 156 years with the sixth generation currently at the helm.

This 1995 vintage is made from a blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Merlot and 14% Cabernet Franc.

Domaine de Montille 'En Champans' 2012 Volnay 1er-Cru

Pinot Noir from the highly regarded Premier Cru vineyard of Champans within the classic Burgundian appellation of Volnay.

Domaine de Montille is renowned as one of the finest domaines in Burgundy with origins dating back to 1730. Today the property remains family-owned and run, with Etienne de Montille – the ninth generation – at the helm. The estate now produces over 35 cuvées from appellations throughout the Côte d’Or, the vast majority of which (70%) is either Premier or Grand Cru.

The Volnay AOC was created in 1937 and is a located in the Côte de Beaune subregion of Burgundy's Côte d'Or.  The appellation applies to red wine made from Pinot Noir although up to 15% of the white wine grape Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Gris are permitted in the blends- although this is rarely utilised by producers. Almost 30 Premier Cru vineyards can be found within Volnay.

Gewürztraminer from the Grand Cru vineyard of Furstentum in the eastern French wine-region of Alsace.

The renowned Alsace wine region located in Eastern France, is home to aromatic white wines made from Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Pinot Blanc, Riesling, Sylvaner, Muscat d'Alsace and Pinot Gris. A small amount of red wine is also produced in the region, mostly from Pinot Noir grapes. The wines are permitted to be made in a dry or sweet style. The history of Alsace, flitting between French and German ownership for centuries, imparts itself within the region's wines - a cacophony of grapes native to both countries, ennobled and respected individually.

Established in 1998, Downing Family Vineyards is a small, family run estate located in Oakville. Production is low with limited cases being released each year. 

In Napa Valley, Cabernet Sauvignon is King.  Widely reputed to be the new home of Cabernet Sauvignon, producing many of the grape's best wines outside of Bordeaux - and in many cases, rivalling those of Bordeaux; a bold claim for a grape that is successfully planted in so many of the world's wine regions.

Barossa Valley is amongst Australia's oldest and most renowned wine regions. The internationally recognised region has a Mediterranean climate and is synonymous with Australia's signature grape, Shiraz. Mature, semi-sweet Chenin Blanc from the Loire Valley appellation of Vouvray. 

The Vouvray wine region, located in the Loire Valley's Touraine district, is famed for its white wine made almost exclusively from the Chenin Blanc grape. Various styles: sweet, dry, still and sparkling are permitted in the region. Other than Chenin Blanc, the lesser-known and rarely seen Arbois grape is also permitted. Our monthly auctions end from 7:00 PM (UK local time) on the closing date. If a bid is placed after 7:00 PM on any lot, the entire auction will be extended by an additional two minutes. 

The auction will end once all bidding has ceased for two minutes. Based on previous auction activity, the auction will continue for several hours and is most likely to finish between 9pm - 11pm (UK local time).
