Château L'Angélus 1984 Saint-Émilion 1er-Grand-Cru

Founded in the 18th Century, Chateau Angélus, known as Château L'Angélus until 1990, is a highly respected estate within the right-bank Bordeaux appellation of Saint-Émilion- promoted to Premier Grand Cru Classé A status in the 2012 reclassification. In 2022 Château Angélus withdrew it's application from the official Saint-Émilion classification system.

The wine is typically an even blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc; matured in new oak barrels for approximately 18 months.

Château Ducru-Beaucaillou 1996 St-Julien 2eme-Cru

From the appellation of Saint-Julien, Château Ducru-Beaucaillou is a 2nd Growth (2eme Cru) estate in the 1855 Classification of the Medoc, and frequently regarded as one of the leading \"Super Seconds\".

Classic Cabernet Sauvignon dominant, left-bank Bordeaux-blend; Matured for approximately 18 months in 60%-70% new oak.

Château Ducru-Beaucaillou is one oldest estates in the Medoc dating back to the 13th century. The 75-hectare vineyard has an average vine age of 35 years, however, Ducru-Beaucaillou also has old vines. Their oldest plot is the Les Sadons parcel was planted all the way back in 1918.

Château Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande 1975 Pauillac 2eme-Cru

Located in the Pauillac appellation, Château Pichon Longueville Comtesse De Lalande is a 2nd Growth (2eme Cru) estate in the 1855 Classification of the Medoc.

The wines of Château Pichon Longueville Comtesse De Lalande, often shorted to Château Pichon Lalande, tend to feature a higher proportion of Merlot within their Cabernet Sauvignon dominant blends, than other estates within the Pauillac appellation; Matured in new French Oak barrels for approximately 18 months.

Château Léoville Las Cases 2003 Saint-Julien 2eme-Cru

From the St-Julien appellation, Chateau Leoville Las Cases is a 2nd Growth (2eme Cru) estate in the 1855 Classification of the Medoc.

The compositions of Le Grand Vin de Léoville du Marquis de Las Cases varies with each vintage, yet are true to Bordeaux' classic left-bank formula of Cabernet Sauvignon dominance, Merlot moderance, some Cabernet Franc and a tiny dash of Petit Verdot; matured in French Oak barrels for approximately 18 months.

Château Gruaud-Larose 2000 Saint Julien​ 2eme-Cru

From the Bordeaux left-bank appellation of Saint-Julien, Château Gruaud-Larose is a 2nd Growth (2eme Cru) estate in the 1855 Classification of the Médoc.

The wine is a classic Cabernet Sauvignon dominant, left-bank Bordeaux-blend; matured for 16-18 months in oak barrels. New oak use has increased from around 30% in the 1990s to around 90% in the 2000s.

Classic Cabernet Sauvignon dominant, left-bank Bordeaux-blend - these early vintages were Merlot dominant; Matured in French Oak barrels for 18-20 months.

This 1979 vintage is made from a blend of: 58% Cabernet Sauvignon, 36% Merlot, 4% Petit Verdot and 2% Cabernet Franc.

Château de l'Etoile 'Vin Jaune' 1985 L'Etoile

A dry white wine made from Savagnin grapes, from the tiny and relatively unknown region of L'Etoile located in the centre of the Jura wine region of France- famous for it's Vin Jaune wines.

Vin Jaune, French for yellow wine, is a unique oxidative wine which shares many similarities with Fino Sherry, but unlike Sherry, it is not fortified and is always dry. These wines have incredible ageing potential. 

Château Palmer 2013 Margaux 3ème-Cru

Château Rieussec 1983 Sauternes 1er-Cru 3x75cl

Once belonging to the Carmelite monks in Langon, the renowned Château Rieussec is now owned by Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite), since they purchased the estate in 1984. Chateau Rieussec was ranked as a First Growth Premier Cru (1er-Cru) in Bordeaux' famed 1855 Classification of the Medoc.

The wines of Sauternes are produced from a blend of Sémillon, Sauvignon Blanc and occasionally a small amount of Muscadelle, left on the vines until affected by the noble fungus, Botrytis Cinerea, which dehydrates the grapes to raisins, leaving only the sweet sugary pulp with which to make the most incredible sweet wine.

Bollinger 'La Grande Année' Brut 1997 Vintage Champagne

1997 vintage Champagne from the renowned House of Bollinger.

La Grande Année is made from grapes sourced exclusively from Grand-Cru and Premier-Cru vineyards and aged for 10 years in oak prior to release.  

Founded in 1829 initially under the name Renaudin Bollinger & Cie, Bollinger is one of the last independent Champagne houses. The house continues to be run by members of the Bollinger family to this day. The House’s 178 hectares are planted with 85% of Grand Cru and Premier Cru vines, the majority of which are Pinot Noir which is dominant in their wines. 

Château Lynch-Bages 2015 Pauillac 5eme-Cru

Château La Conseillante 1996 Pomerol

Château La Conseillante is one of the iconic wines and wineries in Pomerol. It is a Merlot dominant blend from the right-bank of Bordeaux; matured for approximately 18 months in a combination of new and second use French Oak barrels.

The Chateau's vineyards are planted with 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc - a ratio in which the wines can be expected to follow with slight vintage variation.

Château Léoville Poyferré 1989 Saint-Julien 2eme-Cru

From the Bordeaux left-bank appellation of Saint-Julien, Château Léoville Poyferré is a 2nd Growth (2eme Cru) estate in the 1855 Classification of the Medoc.

The vineyard of Château Léoville Poyferré extends over 80 hectares and is planted to 63% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 7% Petit Verdot and 5% Cabernet Franc -  a ratio in which the wines roughly follow with slight vintage variation.

Merlot dominant (85-90%), right-bank Bordeaux-blend from the Premier Grand Cru Classé B estate of Château Troplong Mondot within the appellation of Saint-Émilion; Matured for approximately 18-24 months in 75% new oak barrels.

Château Troplong Mondot wine is made from a blend of approximately; 90% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon.

Saint-Émilion is located in the Libournais district of Bordeaux's Right Bank. Merlot is the primary grape variety used in the wines blended with Cabernet Franc and/or Cabernet Sauvignon. Carmenere, Petit Verdot and Malbec are also permitted but rarely used.

Château Cissac 2004 Haut-Medoc 6x75cl

Classic Cabernet Sauvignon dominant, left-bank Bordeaux-blend from the Bordeaux sub-region of Haut-Médoc; Aged for 18-20 months in 30-40% new French oak. 

The Cru Bourgeois estate of Château Cissac has been in the hands of the Vialard family since 1895 and is currently run by the 5th generation. The family also owns the neighbouring estate of Chateau du Breuil.

Biondi-Santi 1980 Brunello di Montalcino

Biondi-Santi is one of the world's greatest wine estates with a long and fascinating history. It produces three wines: Rosso di Montalcino, Brunello di Montalcino, and Brunello di Montalcino Riserva, made from the oldest vines on the Il Greppo estate, and only in exceptional years.

Brunello di Montalcino is one of the great under-appreciated wines of Italy. The wine must be made from 100% Sangiovese which undergoes an extended period of pre-fermentation maceration to extract maximum colour, flavour and tannins which affords the wine its ability to mature for long periods.  Brunello di Montalcino must be aged in oak - commonly Slavonian oak - for a minimum of 2 years, though traditionally winemakers would age their Brunellos in oak for at least 3 years before release.

Caveau des Jacobins 'Vin Jaune' 1980s Cotes Du Jura 2x63cl

Berry Bros and Rudd 1963 Vintage Port / Berry's Own Selection

Mature 1963 vintage Port from Berry Bros and Rudd.

Vintage Port is produced only in the most exceptional deemed years from a single harvest. The fermented wine is fortified before being aged for 2-3 years in massive oak vats which preserve the ripe fruit character. Upon bottling, the wines continue to age and can reward patient maturation for many decades. The decision to declare a vintage is made by the individual Port house. 

This is a bottling by renowned London wine and spirit merchants, Berry Brothers & Rudd.

Bodegas Riojanas 'Monte Real' 2018 Rioja Reserva 6x75cl

Tempranillo dominant red wine from the famed Rioja region in northern Spain; Classified as a Reserva, this wine was matured for a minimum period of 36 months including 12 months in oak barrels.

Rioja is arguably Spain's top wine region and is one of only two regions classified under the Denominación de Origen Calificada (DOCa) system. Other than Tempranillo and Garnacha, Graciano and Mazuelo (Carignan) are also used in the red wines of Rioja.

The Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel estate of Château Le Boscq is owned by Dourthe and produces this wine from their vineyard in a single block.

Château Rauzan-Ségla 2006 Margaux 2eme-Cru

From the renowned Margaux appellation, Chateau Rauzan-Segla (Rausan-Segla between 1904-1994) is a 2nd Growth (2eme Cru) estate in the 1855 Classification of the Medoc, and is frequently refered to as one of the leading \"Super Seconds\" - 2nd Growth wines of quality comparable to the 1st Growths.

Classic Cabernet Sauvignon dominant, left-bank Bordeaux-blend; Matured for 18 months in approximately 50% French Oak barrels.

This 2006 vintage is made from a blend of 53% Cabernet Sauvignon, 44% Merlot and 3 Petit Verdot.
