Heitz Wine Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon 1973 Napa Valley

Cabernet Sauvignon from California's renowned Napa Valley.

In Napa Valley, Cabernet Sauvignon is King.  Widely reputed to be the new home of Cabernet Sauvignon, producing many of the grape's best wines outside of Bordeaux - and in many cases, rivalling those of Bordeaux; a bold claim for a grape that is successfully planted in so many of the world's wine regions.

Hugel 'Jubilee' Réserve Personnelle' Gewürztraminer 1993 Alsace 12x75cl

Gewürztraminer from the eastern French wine-region of Alsace.

Jubilee was first created in 1989 to celebrate the Hugel family's 350th anniversary. The Jubilee wines are made only in the best deemed vintages from the family’s oldest vineyard estates in Riquewihr.

Hugel is a name synonymous with Alsace, founded all the way back in 1639, the estate is today still run by the same family with it's 13th generation at the helm.

Hugel Gewürztraminer 1994 Alsace 7x75cl

Sweet Gewürztraminer from the eastern French wine-region of Alsace.

Hugel is a name synonymous with Alsace, founded all the way back in 1639, the estate is today still run by the same family with it's 13th generation at the helm. 

The renowned Alsace wine region located in Eastern France, is home to aromatic white wines made from Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Pinot Blanc, Riesling, Sylvaner, Muscat d'Alsace and Pinot Gris. A small amount of red wine is also produced in the region, mostly from Pinot Noir grapes. The wines are permitted to be made in a dry or sweet style. The history of Alsace, flitting between French and German ownership for centuries, imparts itself within the region's wines - a cacophony of grapes native to both countries, ennobled and respected individually.

Henschke 'Cyril Henschke' Cabernet Sauvignon 1995 Eden Valley

Cabernet Sauvignon dominant blend with Cabernet Franc and Merlot, from Eden Valley, just northeast of Adelaide; Matured in new French Oak barrels for 21 months.

1868 marked the first recorded sale of Henschke wine. The historic estate has been family-owned for over 156 years with the sixth generation currently at the helm.

This 1995 vintage is made from a blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Merlot and 14% Cabernet Franc. 

Henschke 'Keyneton Estate' Euphonium 2001 Barossa Valley

A blend of 72% Shiraz, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 8% Merlot from South Australia's famed Barossa Valley.

1868 marked the first recorded sale of Henschke wine. The historic estate has been family-owned for over 156 years with the sixth generation currently at the helm.

Barossa Valley is amongst Australia's oldest and most renowned wine regions. The internationally recognised region has a Mediterranean climate and is synonymous with Australia's signature grape, Shiraz. The area also boasts some of the world's oldest continually producing Shiraz, Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon and Riesling vines. Other prominent grapes of the region include, Semillon, Viognier and Mouvedre.

Hidalguia de Bujanda 1975 Rioja Gran Reserva

Tempranillo dominant blend from the Rioja region in northern Spain. Classified as a Gran Reserva, this wine was matured for a minimum period of 24 months in oak barrels.

Rioja is arguably Spain's top wine region and is one of only two regions classified under the Denominación de Origen Calificada (DOCa) system. Other than Tempranillo and Garnacha, Graciano and Mazuelo (Carignan) are also used in the red wines of Rioja. 

Houghton 'Jack Mann' Cabernet Sauvignon-Malbec 1995 Western Australia

A Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec blend from Western Australia.

Hutcheson Feuerheerd & Associados 1980 Vintage Port

1980 vintage Port from the house of Hutcheson, Feuerheerd & Associados-Vinhos SA.

Vintage Port is produced only in the most exceptional deemed years from a single harvest. The fermented wine is fortified before being aged for 2-3 years in massive oak vats which preserve the ripe fruit character. Upon bottling, the wines continue to age and can reward patient maturation for many decades. The decision to declare a vintage is made by the individual Port house. 

Hamilton Russell Vineyards Pinot Noir 2022 Hemel-en-Aarde, South Africa

100% Pinot Noir from the famous Hemel-en-Aarde Valley wine region  located in the Western Cape of South Africa: aged for 10 months in 36% new 228 liter French oak barrels. 

The relatively new, cool climate region of Hemel-en-Aarde is renowned for its production of widely acclaimed Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The cool-climate area also produces Sauvignon Blanc, Syrah, Pinotage and red Bordeaux varieties.

Heinrich Vollmer 'Ellerstadter Bubeneck' Gewürztraminer Spätlese 1989 Rheinpfalz

Semi-sweet Gewürztraminer from the single vineyard of Ellerstadter Bubeneck within the Rheinpfalz wine-region just south-west of Frankfurt.

Spätlese is the the lightest of the German late harvest wines, produced from slightly-late-harvested grapes and may be either sweet or dry. If “Trocken” is noted on the label you can assume it's a dry style.
