Pavillon Rouge du Château Margaux 2007 Margaux

Pavillon Rouge du Château Margaux is the second-wine from the renowned Château Margaux estate- one of the original four 1st Growths (1er-Cru) in the famed 1855 Classification of Medoc. It is believed this second wine was first released back in the 17th century, but the name Pavillon Rouge was given to it in 1908.

This wine is a classic right-bank Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Sauvignon dominance.

The famed Champagne Wine Region located in the northeast of France is renowned for producing the world's most celebrated sparkling wine. Champagne is typically made from one or a combination of the three predominant grape varieties, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, although there are four other lesser-known grape varieties that are permitted to be included: Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Petit Meslier and Arbane.

Pierre Naigeon 'Vieilles Vignes' 2009 Gevrey-Chambertin

Old vine Pinot Noir from the Burgundian appellation of Gevrey-Chambertin, within the subregion of Côte-de-Nuits.

This wine is produced from selected vineyards with an average age of more than 54 years and matured for 12 months in 25% new French oak barrels. 

Peller Estate Cabernet Franc 2002 Niagara Icewine 37.5cl

Ice wine from Peller Estate in the Canadian VQA of Niagara Peninsula, made exclusively from Cabernet Franc grapes, yielding a rare red sweet wine.

Ice wine is a particularly decadent style of sweet wine, in which the grapes are left of their vines for an extended period of time, well into the winter, and are only picked - by hand and in the middle of the night - after a suitable period of constant cold temperatures.  The water content within the grapes thus freezes and the grapes are carefully pressed shortly after picking to draw only the sweet sugary pulp.

Pierre Mignon 'Grande Reserve' Brut NV Champagne 4x37.5cl

Four bottles of non-vintage Champagne produced from grapes within Premier Cru vineyards, from one of the leading grower-winemakers, Pierre Mignon.

This atypical Champagne features a very high proportion of Pinot Meunier (80%) with only 10% each of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

Paolo Masi 1996 Chianti 2x75cl

Chianti is a classic red wine from the heartland of Tuscany - one of Italy's iconic wine regions.

Many Chianti wines are made from 100% Sangiovese, however the region rules stipulate that the wines can be made from a minimum of 80% Sangiovese, with up to 20% of the final blend permitted to be constituted from a handful of other approved grape varieties such as Cabernet, Merlot and Syrah.

Petaluma 'B&V Vineyard' Shiraz 2008 Adelaide Hills

Single vineyard Shiraz from the Adelaide Hills wine-region of South Australia.

The Petaluma Yellow Label B&V Shiraz is produced from the B&V vineyard which was planted in 1992 on the western escarpment of Mt. Barker.

Provolo 2009 Amarone della Valpolicella

Amarone della Valpolicella is one of Italy's most iconic wines.  As with all Valpolicellas, the wine is a blend of the Corvina, Molinara and Rondinella grape varieties. 

Amarone is produced through a process of partially rack-drying grapes for several months prior to fermentation, resulting in a wine of atypical power, concentration and alcohol content with an ability to benefit from long periods of maturation.

Pagliarese 1982 Chianti Classico Riserva

Sangiovese dominant blend from the iconic wine-region of Chianti in the heart of Tuscany. Classed as a Chianti Classico Riserva, this wine must have been aged for a minimum of 24 months including 3 months of bottle ageing.

Chianti Classico wines must contain a minimum of 80% of Sangiovese. The remainder can be made from native grapes such as Canaiolo or Colorino, as well as international varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Wines made only from Sangiovese have been permitted since 1996.
