Soldera 'Case Basse' 1987 Brunello di Montalcino 150cl

Brunello di Montalcino is one of the great under-appreciated wines of Italy.  100% Sangiovese which undergoes an extended period of pre-fermentation maceration to extract maximum colour, flavour and tannins which affords the wine its ability to mature for long periods.  Brunello di Montalcino must be aged in oak - commonly Slavonian oak - for a minimum of 2 years, though traditionally winemakers would age their Brunellos in oak for at least 3 years before release.

This is a 1.5 litre magnum bottle. Large-format bottles are great for extended ageing periods due to the wine's slower rate of maturation.

La Chapelle de La Mission Haut-Brion 2006 Pessac-Leognan 12x75cl

Château La Mission Haut-Brion from the Pessac-Léognan appellation, is widely regarded as being on par with the five prestigious 1st-Growth estates as ranked in the famed 1855 Classification of the Medoc; itself ranked within the Classification of Graves 1959.

Stella di Campalto 'P. Contenitori' 2016 Brunello di Montalcino

100% Sangiovese from the Tuscan town of Montalcino; aged in casks for 43 months followed by a further 32 months in bottle prior to release.

La Pousse d'Or 'Les Gravières' 1976 Santenay 1er-Cru

Pinot Noir from the Premier Cru vineyard of Les Gravières, located within the Burgundian appellation of Santenay in southern Côte de Beaune.

The renowned Santenay Premier Cru vineyard of Les Gravières is located at the northern end of the village and is planted with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

Louis Roederer Cristal 2014 Vintage Champagne

2014 vintage Champagne from Louis Roederer's prestige brand, Cristal.

Cristal is typically made from a blend of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay grapes and is matured for 6 years followed by a further 8 months after disgorgement. 

Founded in 1776, the renowned Louis Roederer Champagne house is one of the last great independent and family-run Champagne houses. Cristal is their flagship cuvée, created in 1876 for emperor Alexander II, tsar of Russia.

Louis Jadot 2010 Clos Vougeot Grand-Cru​ 2x75cl

Pinot Noir from the Burgundian Grand Cru walled vineyard and appellation of Clos Vougeot, within the subregion of the Côte-de-Nuits.

Founded in 1859 in Beaune, Louis Jadot is one of the most prestigious vignerons in all of Burgundy. This wine was matured for 18 months in 1/3 new barrels from the Louis Jadot cooperage.

Clos Vougeot, also referred to as Clos de Vougeot, is a large walled vineyard established in the 11th Century by Cistercian monks of the Cîteaux Abbey. Planted with 100% Pinot Noir, it considered one of the finest grand cru vineyards in the Côte de Nuits subregion of northern Burgundy.

Laurent-Perrier 'La Cuvée' Brut NV Champagne 6x75cl

Non-Vintage Champagne from the iconic House of Laurent-Perrier.

La Cuvée is a Chardonnay dominant blend which is matured for around 4 years in Laurent-Perrier 's cellars prior to release. 

The house of Laurent-Perrier was founded in 1811 by by André Michel Pierlot in the Grand Cru village of Tours-sur-Marne, and produces both vintage and non-vintage cuvee. The identity of Laurent-Perrier Champagne centres on Chardonnay, but also brings together the best Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier terroirs.

Serègo Alighieri 'Vaio Armaron' 1995 Amarone della Valpolicella 6x75cl

Amarone della Valpolicella is one of Italy's most iconic wines.  As with all Valpolicellas, the wine is a blend of the Corvina, Molinara and Rondinella grape varieties.  

Amarone is produced through a process of partially rack-drying grapes - to increase concentration of both natural grape flavours and sugars - for approximately 4 months before winemaking begins.  The result is a wine of atypical power, concentration and alcohol content with an ability to benefit from long periods of maturation.

Le Petit Cheval 1999 Saint-Émilion

Le Petit Cheval is the 2nd wine from Château Cheval Blanc, a classified Premier Grand Cru Classé \"A\" and rightly considered an equal to the First Growth wines of the Medoc, Château Cheval Blanc is undisputedly the top wine estate in the appellation of Saint-Emilion. In 2021 Château Cheval Blanc voluntary withdrew from the official Saint-Émilion classification system as they did not agree with the new classification specifications

A Cabernet Franc dominant, right-bank Bordeaux-blend; Matured for 12 months in 100% new oak barrels. 

This 1999 vintage is made from a blend of; 63% Cabernet Franc and 37% Merlot.

Louis Jadot 'Les Suchots' 1996 Vosne-Romanée 1er-Cru

Pinot Noir from the Premier Cru vineyard of Les Suchots in the Burgundian appellation of Vosne-Romanée.

Founded in 1859 in Beaune, Louis Jadot is one of the most prestigious vignerons in all of Burgundy. This wine was matured for 18 months in 1/3 new barrels from the Louis Jadot cooperage.

The renowned Vosne-Romanée appellation is located in Burgundy's Côte de Nuits and famed for it's high quality wines made from Pinot Noir. Though most wines produced are 100% Pinot Noir, regulations allow for the addition of up to 15% of the white wine grapes Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Gris to be included, however this is rarely utilised by producers. Originally called Vosne until 1866 when Romanée was added paying homage to it's most famed vineyard- La Romanée. The area is also home to other prized Premier and Grand Cru vineyards: Romanée-Conti, La Grand Rue, La Tâche, Richebourg and Romanée-Saint-Vivant.

Laurent-Perrier 'Grand Siècle' Grande Cuvée NV Champagne

Non-vintage Champagne from the iconic House of Laurent-Perrier.

Grand Siècle is a blend of three vintages in order to recreate the perfect year. Since 1959, Grand Siècle has been been produced only 25 times.

The house of Laurent-Perrier was founded in 1811 by by André Michel Pierlot in the Grand Cru village of Tours-sur-Marne, and produces both vintage and non-vintage cuvee. The identity of Laurent-Perrier Champagne centres on Chardonnay, but also brings together the best Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier terroirs.

Silver Oak Cabernet Sauvignon 1976 Alexander Valley

Cabernet Sauvignon from the Alexander Valley AVA of Sonoma County, California; Matured for an extended period in 50% new oak barrels from Silver Oak's very own American oak cooperage.

Founded in 1972 and originally named Duncan-Meyer, Silver Oak Cellars is a leading, family-owned, California winery that exclusively produces Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. 

Sandeman 1963 Vintage Port 2x75cl

A 1963 vintage Port from renowned producer, Sandeman. Bottled in 1965.

The famous House of Sandeman was created in 1790 by Scotsman, George Sandeman and has continuously been making and shipping ports around the world for more than 200 years. Their famous logo featuring a caped man named \"The Don\" makes this the most well known brand of port in the world.

Vintage Port is produced only in the most exceptional deemed years from a single harvest. The fermented wine is fortified before being aged for 2-3 years in massive oak vats which preserve the ripe fruit character. Upon bottling, the wines continue to age and can reward patient maturation for many decades. The decision to declare a vintage is made by the individual Port house.

La Chablisienne 'Château Grenouilles' 2011 Chablis Grand-Cru 3x75cl

Chardonnay from the renowned Grand Cru vineyard of Grenouilles, within the iconic French appellation of Chablis: matured for 14 on on fine lees in tuns and barrels. 

Chablis is located in northern Burgundy and is one of the most well-known wine regions in France producing world renowned cool-climate Chardonnay. Compared to other Burgundian Chardonnays, Chablis wines typically have little or no oak influence- though many of the Grand Cru and Premier Cru wines receive some maturation in oak barrels.

The Grenouilles vineyard is the smallest climat in the Chablis Grand Cru appellation, covering less than 10 hectares.

Saint-Estèphe de Montrose 2014 St-Estephe 6x75cl

Château Montrose is a 2nd Growth (2eme Cru) estate in the 1855 Classification of the Medoc, and is frequently referred to as one of the leading \"Super Seconds\" - 2nd Growth wines of quality comparable to the 1st Growths.

Saint Estèphe de Montrose is the estate’s third wine, which was renamed in 2016 to Tertio de Montrose. The wine is a typical classic Bordeaux-blend of Merlot dominance. 

Luce 'Della Vite' 1997 Tuscany

The iconic \"Luce\" was the first wine ever produced in the Tuscan town of Montalcino with a blend of Merlot and Sangiovese. The idea of ​​combining Merlot and Sangiovese came in 1995 when renowned wine makers Lamberto Frescobaldi and Robert Mondavi decided to join forces and form a joint venture.

The wine is aged in predominantly new and once used oak barrels for 18-24 months.

Louis Latour 'Château de Blagny' 1999 Meursault 1er-Cru

Mature Chardonnay from the Burgundian Premier-Cru vineyard of Château de Blagny located in the iconic Burgundian appellation of Meursault: matured fo 8-10 months in 35% new oak barrels. 

The Latour family have long been established in Burgundy’s wine trade. Originally vine growers in the village of Aloxe-Corton as early as 1768, they went on to establish today’s business, Maison Louis Latour. Today they are one of the best known and largest vineyard owners of grand cru sites in Burgundy.

Located in the in the Côte de Beaune sub-region, Meursault is considered to be the capital of Burgundy's great white wines. The appellation almost exclusively produces white wine made from Chardonnay, however a small amount red wine made from Pinot Noir can be found from the area. 

La Rioja Alta 'Viña Alberdi' 1984 Rioja Crianza

Viña Alberdi is made from 100% Tempranillo from the famed Rioja region in northern Spain.

Rioja is arguably Spain's top wine region and is one of only two regions classified under the Denominación de Origen Calificada (DOCa) system. Other than Tempranillo and Garnacha, Graciano and Mazuelo (Carignan) are also used in the red wines of Rioja. 

Established in 1890, La Rioja Alta continues to be one of the benchmarks for traditionally produced Rioja wine today.
