Sweet Gewürztraminer from the eastern French wine-region of Alsace.

Hugel is a name synonymous with Alsace, founded all the way back in 1639, the estate is today still run by the same family with it's 13th generation at the helm. 

The renowned Alsace wine region located in Eastern France, is home to aromatic white wines made from Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Pinot Blanc, Riesling, Sylvaner, Muscat d'Alsace and Pinot Gris. A small amount of red wine is also produced in the region, mostly from Pinot Noir grapes. The wines are permitted to be made in a dry or sweet style. The history of Alsace, flitting between French and German ownership for centuries, imparts itself within the region's wines - a cacophony of grapes native to both countries, ennobled and respected individually.

This 2018 vintage is a blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet Franc and 15% Merlot from 30 year old vines.

Henschke 'Cyril Henschke' Cabernet Sauvignon 1995 Eden Valley

Cabernet Sauvignon dominant blend with Cabernet Franc and Merlot, from Eden Valley, just northeast of Adelaide; Matured in new French Oak barrels for 21 months.

1868 marked the first recorded sale of Henschke wine. The historic estate has been family-owned for over 156 years with the sixth generation currently at the helm.

This 1995 vintage is made from a blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Merlot and 14% Cabernet Franc.

A blend of 72% Shiraz, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 8% Merlot from South Australia's famed Barossa Valley.

1868 marked the first recorded sale of Henschke wine. The historic estate has been family-owned for over 156 years with the sixth generation currently at the helm.

The internationally recognised region has a Mediterranean climate and is synonymous with Australia's signature grape, Shiraz. Hidalguia de Bujanda 1975 Rioja Gran Reserva

Tempranillo dominant blend from the Rioja region in northern Spain. Classified as a Gran Reserva, this wine was matured for a minimum period of 24 months in oak barrels.

Rioja is arguably Spain's top wine region and is one of only two regions classified under the Denominación de Origen Calificada (DOCa) system. Other than Tempranillo and Garnacha, Graciano and Mazuelo (Carignan) are also used in the red wines of Rioja.

Kanonkop Cabernet Sauvignon 2018 Stellenbosch

Cabernet Sauvignon from South Africa's renowned Stellenbosch wine-region; Matured for 24 months in 50% new and 50% second use French oak barrels.

Kanonkop matures it's wines in new or second-fill 225 litre French oak barrels for 12-24 months depending on the wine. 

First released in 1973, this wine is part of Kononkop's Estate Range. 

Krohn 2010 Colheita Port

Colheita Port is a single vintage-dated Tawny Port. It is similar to Vintage Port in that it is produced from the crop of a single exceptional year.  However, while Vintage Ports spend only a brief 2 years in large oak vats and the majority of their ageing in bottle, Colheita Ports are matured exclusively in smaller oak barrels for a minimum of seven years- although it is not uncommon that they are aged for much longer, as many as 50 to 100 years. 

Krohn Port House was founded in 1865 by two Norwegian cousins. Over the following 150 years, the firm built up an outstanding reputation for its cask-aged Ports, in particular its colheitas and single harvest tawnies. Today the port house produces a full range from White Port, Ruby, Vintage, Late Bottled Vintage, Tawny to old Colheitas.

Hutcheson Feuerheerd & Associados 1980 Vintage Port

1980 vintage Port from the house of Hutcheson, Feuerheerd & Associados-Vinhos SA.

Vintage Port is produced only in the most exceptional deemed years from a single harvest. The fermented wine is fortified before being aged for 2-3 years in massive oak vats which preserve the ripe fruit character. Upon bottling, the wines continue to age and can reward patient maturation for many decades. The decision to declare a vintage is made by the individual Port house. 

Hamilton Russell Vineyards Pinot Noir 2022 Hemel-en-Aarde, South Africa

100% Pinot Noir from the famous Hemel-en-Aarde Valley wine region  located in the Western Cape of South Africa: aged for 10 months in 36% new 228 liter French oak barrels. 

The relatively new, cool climate region of Hemel-en-Aarde is renowned for its production of widely acclaimed Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The cool-climate area also produces Sauvignon Blanc, Syrah, Pinotage and red Bordeaux varieties.

Heinrich Vollmer 'Ellerstadter Bubeneck' Gewürztraminer Spätlese 1989 Rheinpfalz

Semi-sweet Gewürztraminer from the single vineyard of Ellerstadter Bubeneck within the Rheinpfalz wine-region just south-west of Frankfurt.

Spätlese is the the lightest of the German late harvest wines, produced from slightly-late-harvested grapes and may be either sweet or dry. If “Trocken” is noted on the label you can assume it's a dry style.
