product Details

Moet & Chandon "Dry Imperial" 1921 Vintage Champagne

A 1921 vintage bottle of one of the worlds most recognisable Champagnes.

The front label states 'The "Dry Imperial" is reserved exclusively for Great Britain and Overseas Dominions - Canada Excepted.  The "Brut Imperial" for all other countries.'

In the early decades of the 20th Century, many wines and spirits from around Europe were released in special "Imperial" bottles exclusively for the UK and it's territories.  The special term "Imperial" comes from the bottle size - an Imperial Pint, being 568ml.

This bottle is in good condition: light cosmetic damage to label/seal; cork/closure secure, no leakage.  Please note fill level.

Important Notice

We would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids. If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please contact us for a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen in the images.

Please note: Due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.
