Bertani "Secco" 2014 Verona 150cl
Bertani's "Secco" range of wines are vintage blends of Corvina (80%), Sangiovese (10%), Syrah (5%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (5%). While Bertani are more renowned for their Amarone wines, their "Secco" range use grapes which have not undergone the distinctive rack drying process, but rather benefit from an extended cold-maceration period pre-fermentation; the wine is matured briefly in large 750-5000 Litre Cherry and Chestnut wood barrels.
Large-format bottles are great for extended ageing periods due to the wine's slower rate of maturation.
Please note there shall be a shipping charge for 2 bottles applied to this lot.
This bottle is in excellent condition: label & foil/wax seal intact; cork/closure secure, no leakage.
We would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids. If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please contact us for a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen in the images.
Please note: Due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit or otherwise spoilage of contents.
