Colombia

Colombia is a lesser-known wine-producing country located in South America, with a winemaking history dating back to the 16th century. Although vastly outweighed by its rum production and challenged by its hot and humid climate, the country does have a successful wine industry that focusses on specially bred hybrid grapes alongside some imported varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay.
