Send Bottles Yourself

If you are interested in selling online with Wine Auctioneer, we require that all items arrive at our office-warehouse in Perth, Scotland.

When sending your wines, it is essential that the Consignment Sender's Form is completed, printed and included within your parcel(s). You must be logged into user account to access this form.

If you have further unanswered questions after having read our Selling Guide and FAQs, please email our Customer Service team who will be happy to assist.

Once you have completed the Consignment Sender's Form, you can arrange to have your bottle(s) sent directly to:

Please ensure that bottle(s) are carefully packaged with plenty of internal packaging/bubble wrap in a strong cardboard box. Wine Auctioneer is an environmentally conscious company; we strongly advise reusing/recycling internal packaging and boxes - we would be very grateful. We reserve the right to levy a disposal charge for any non-recyclable polystyrene packing materials received.

Please be aware that Wine Auctioneer cannot be held liable for any issues that occur in transit to us; shipments are sent entirely at the seller's own risk.

Please also note: In order for your lots to be included in a specific auction, your lots must be delivered to our warehouse no later than 5pm (GMT) on the closing date for bottle submissions for that auction. Auction and consignment deadline dates can be found here.

How do I sell my wine?

To sell your wine you will firstly need to register on our website and then either deliver or post your bottle(s) to Wine Auctioneer; we do the rest! All the information you need to sell your wine can be found in our Step-by-Step Guide to Selling Wine at Auction.

How much is my wine worth?

The value of a bottle of wine is constantly fluctuating according to supply and demand. Wine Auctioneer has many years experience in the wine and auction industries and we can assist in providing you with a valuation.

Estimates are provided using recent auction sale prices where possible. Auction estimates can also be approximately derived from current retail market values (readily available online) using a rule-of-thumb calculation of 70% of retail value.

If you would like assistance with a valuation, please visit our Valuation page.

How many items can I submit to sell?

You can submit as many bottles as you like!
