Château Batailley 1978 Pauillac
Château Batailley was recognised as a 5th Growth (5eme Cru) estate in the 1855 Classification of the Medoc. The wine is a classic Bordeaux-blend dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon, with about 25% Merlot and tiny volumes of both Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, matured in oak for approximately 16 months.
This bottle is in good condition: light cosmetic damage to label/seal; cork/closure secure, no leakage.
We would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids. If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please contact us for a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen in the images.
Please note: Due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit or otherwise spoilage of contents.
