Nebbiolo is one of the great native grape varieties of northern Italy, responsible for producing some incredibly long-living wines. Nebbiolo d'Alba means literally, Nebbiolo from (the town of) Alba, in the Piedmont region of northwest Italy.
From the Valmaggiore hill in the Roero cru by the town of Vezza d'Alba, this wine from Luciano Sandrone is 100% Nebbiolo; Matured for an unspecified period of time in 500L French Oak tonneaux.
