Chateau d'Armailhac 2006 Pauillac 5eme-Cru​

From the famed Bordeaux appellation of Pauillac, Chateau d'Armailhac is a 5th Growth (4eme Cru) estate in the 1855 Classification of the Medoc.  Historically named Chateau Mouton-d'Armailhac and located close to Chateau Mouton-Rothschild, Ch. d'Armailhac was purchased by the Rothschild family in 1934.

Typically a Cabernet Sauvignon dominant blend with Merlot playing a supporting role and tiny volumes of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot; matured in oak barrels for approximately 14-16 months.
