Penfolds Grange "Bin 95" 1981 South Australia

Shiraz from selected vineyards in South Australia including the world-renowned Barossa Valley; Matured in new small oak casks for 24 months prior to bottling in 1983.

Penfolds is one of Australia's great iconic wineries and has been making world renowned wines since 1844. It was established at Magill Estate in the Adelaide Hills in 1844 by Dr Christopher Rawson Penfold and his wife Mary who In the early years, produced and sold fortified wines. Today Penfolds offer a huge variety of wines ranging from entry-level to premier offerings such as their flagship "Grange". On its 50th birthday in 2001, Grange was listed as a South Australian heritage icon.
