Monopole Alfred Rothschild "Blanc De Blancs" Brut NV Sparkling Bordeaux
While Bordeaux is well known for their red, white and sweet wines, the region also produces exceptionally small volumes of sparkling wines - also called Cremant de Bordeaux, or simply Vins Mousseux.
This non-vintage sparkling wine from a Rothschild family estate, is a "Blanc De Blancs" - white wine from white grapes, most likely produced from the highly acidic, Ugni Blanc grape variety.
This bottle was officially imported to the Italian market by the wine distribution firm of Rinaldi Importation, Bologna.
This bottle appears to be in excellent condition: label & foil/wax seal intact; cork/closure appears secure, no leakage.
The contents of this bottle appear to be of good colour and clarity.
We would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids. If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please contact us for a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen in the images.
Please note: Due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit or otherwise spoilage of contents.
