Chateau Figeac 1982 St-Emilion 1er-Grand Cru
Since the formation of the Saint-Emilion Classification in 1955, and through every re-classification, Chateau Figeac has held its rank as Premier Grand Cru Classe "B".
As an anomaly for Saint-Emilion, Merlot is the minor grape variety at Chateau Figeac. The wines being composed of approximately 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Cabernet Franc and only 30% Merlot; matured exclusively in new French Oak barrels for 15-18 months.
This bottle is from the exceptional 1982 vintage.
This bottle appears to be in excellent condition: label & foil/wax seal intact; cork/closure appears secure, no leakage.
The contents of this bottle appear to be of good colour and clarity.
