Château Margaux 1964 1er-Cru

One of the most iconic wineries in the world, Château Margaux has been at the forefront of the wine industry since its foundation in 16th Century and even more so since its placement within the top rung of French wines in Napoleon's 1855 Classification.  As sought after today as ever it was, Château Margaux is one of a handful of estates whose wines enjoy the utmost global preference.

The vineyards of Chateau Margaux are planted with 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, 3% Petit Verdot and 2% Cabernet Franc - ratios to which the wines can be expected to follow with slight vintage variation; Matured for 18-24 months in new French Oak barrels.

This bottle bears additional front-label for the Italian distributors, P.A.I.S.S.A. of Turin.
