Château Clinet 1988 Pomerol 150cl
Château Clinet is an estate in the Bordeaux appellation of Pomerol, notable among its contemporary wineries for their strong inclusion of Cabernet Sauvignon - rather than Cabernet Franc - in their wines.
Typically, the wine is composed of 88% Merlot, 11% Cabernet Sauvignon and only 1% Cabernet Franc; matured in French oak barrels for between 18 to 22 months.
Large-format bottles are great for extended ageing periods due to the wine's slower rate of maturation.
Please note that there shall be a shipping charge for 2 bottles applied to this lot.
This bottle appears to be in excellent condition: label & foil/wax seal intact; cork/closure appears secure, no leakage.
We would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids. If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please contact us for a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen in the images.
Please note: Due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit or otherwise spoilage of contents.
