A limited release Mataro (aka Mourvedre) made exclusively from grapes picked from Block 25 of Penfold's famous Kalimna Vineyard in the world renowned Barossa Valley.

Penfolds is one of Australia's great iconic wineries and has been making world renowned wines since 1844. It was established at Magill Estate in the Adelaide Hills in 1844 by Dr Christopher Rawson Penfold and his wife Mary who In the early years, produced and sold fortified wines. Today Penfolds offer a huge variety of wines ranging from entry-level to premier offerings such as their flagship "Grange". On its 50th birthday in 2001, Grange was listed as a South Australian heritage icon.
