Pet-Nat made from organic Zweigelt and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from the Austrian wine-region of Kamptal.
Pét-Nat, short for Pétillant Naturel is a natural sparking wine made using the very old 'ancestral' method. It can come as a white, rose or less commonly a red wine and has no set grape varieties that can be used to make it. Like any wine naturally made they are produced with low alcohol (usually 10-12% abv) and with no added sugars or preservatives. Pétillant naturel wines are usually unfiltered, which leaves them cloudy with sediment at the bottom of the bottle.
