Sandeman 1970 Vintage Port 12x75cl

Sandeman was created in 1790 by a young Scotsman, George Sandeman. The famous image of "The Don" makes this the most well known brand of port in the world.

Vintage Port is a specific style of Ruby Port which is made only in exceptional years and from the ripest grapes.  The fermented wine is fortified before being aged for 2 years in massive oak vats which preserve the ripe fruit character.  Upon bottling, the wines continue to age and can reward patient maturation for many decades.

1970 Vintage; Bottled 1972.

Please note that there shall be a shipping charge for 12 bottles applied to this lot.

Important Notice

We would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids. If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please contact us for a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen in the images.

Please note: Due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.
