This is a very old  1860 vintage Madeira. 

A semi-sweet, fortified wine from the Portuguese island of Madeira, produced exclusively from Boal (aka Bual) - one of the 4 Noble grapes of Madeira.

Unknown producer; 1860 vintage.

Condition
  • This bottle shows signs of leakage although cork and closure appear secure
  • Liquid fill level on bottle shoulder
  • It is not possible to ascertain colour of the contents of this bottle, yet appears mature in colour and with sedimentary particles in suspension
